I had to give up my RunUO server...:(
I'm very depressed...but it was getting in the way of my learning calculus. And if I learn calculus, I can get a job. If I get a job, I can run another server. Bleah. Still doesn't make me undepressed. Anyway, I thought I'd make a list of things I want to do:

Learn how to implement an IMAP and an SMTP server on a Windows box.
Learn how to program a game.
Learn Maya (the 3D program...)
Learn C++
Learn how XML really works...the bones behind it. I know it's a data-based ML...
Make another UO server...
Make my own game (Universe [that's a TM, dang it])
Start a business...I dunno what the business would do...
Work for a well-known company in R&D for new stuff.
Sell ideas to people for oodles of money.

Final note:
Oodles is a fun word. Say it out loud...you'll see why.

There are some advantages to having an obscenely fast computer--

Namely, Java programs compile INSTANTANEOUSLY. Really lets you get immediate feedback and whatnot. Good stuff.

That was the random thought for the night. The other one is...if there were only careers in philosophy...

It's official! College is not my deal. It's fun and all...but this is not how I operate. I can't handle the sress and the courses. If it was one-on-one with teachers that know me personally, or even in a business environment, I'd do better. I dunno. Maybe since my peers have already had this experience, they know how to react better. Not having had this experience before, I'm totally lost and stressed out. I dunno what to do. I'll get back to you. BYE.
